National District Nurses Conference

The Impact of the Digital Age for District and Community Nurses

21st November 2024 at Kettering Park Hotel and Spa


This is a one-day conference aimed at Community NHS Managers, Integrated Managers, District Nurse Managers, District Nurses and SPQ Students within District Nursing.

Reflecting the work and issues that affect District Nurses today, under the theme, ‘The Impact of the Digital age on Community Nursing’, this year’s conference will explore digital technology - how it has greatly impacted the District Nurses role and will continue to do so as it evolves. Delegates will hear from an impressive line-up of speakers throughout the day, including The Queen’s Nursing Institute and Senior NHS Leaders. All presentations will be educational and the entire conference is CPD certified. 


Exhibition

The conference will also host an exhibition, with opportunities for delegates to network with representatives from the district nursing industry. There will be ample opportunity too to network amongst yourselves – a key element of added value at any conference.

The Venue

The conference will take place in The Rutland Suite at The Kettering Park Hotel & Spa. Located 2 miles from Kettering train station, there are links to and from most major cities. The hotel has complimentary car parking spaces on site, situated less than 5 minutes drive from junction 9 off the A14.

I have always found the National District Nurses Conference highly refreshing and enlightening, with new initiatives in community nursing shared! It is an opportunity for district nurses across the country to share good practice, discuss, and agree on pertinent issues concerning district nursing.
