Green Plan

NPAG has always been conscious of the need to minimise the environmental impact of its activities. We have undertaken a number of measures over the years aimed at creating a greener service:

Reducing the amount of paper used for our national events

Selecting venues for our meetings and events that facilitate travel by train

Encouraging working from home where appropriate

Minimising waste by using our host Trust recycling facilities where possible

We also established a national NHS Sustainability Leads Network in 2012

Recognising the NHS ambition to move towards a Net Zero NHS, we have now developed our first NPAG Green Plan , setting out our own proposals to create a greener NPAG.
